Sometimes it IS a Dog's Life

So, it really IS a dog’s life! Sometimes, anyway - ah, such a way to mark your passage through life!

On a country road down in the southern mountains, two lucky dogs romp on a warm autumn afternoon.

Brilliant arches of backlighted maples and white oak trees tower over their heads, a faint smell of summer dust still lingers in the air and dry leaves crackle underfoot. Autumn wildflowers adorn the forests and meadows, and the radio says another cold wave will be here tonight!
